The Story

MASSÉ was built by Don Michael Berry II, a 20-year MarTech veteran who has held VP and Director roles building sophisticated intelligence and outreach systems for B2B sales organizations.

When I started my own executive job search, I realized something: I had spent two decades building exactly the kind of system I needed — signal monitoring, intelligence generation, personalized outreach at scale — for companies trying to find customers. And I wasn't using any of that knowledge for myself.

I was scrolling job boards at 11pm like everyone else.

Fourteen months, sixteen companies, and countless applications later, I stopped waiting for the right tools to exist and started building them. MASSÉ is a platform that monitors your target companies for the signals that actually predict hiring, generates real intelligence rather than keyword matches, and helps you reach out at exactly the right moment — before the job is even posted.

Six weeks after launching to a small beta, API costs hit $100/day. I put up a maintenance page, rebuilt it properly with full billing and encryption, and relaunched as themasse.com. The rebuild took three weeks. The product is better for it.

The engine behind Outreach. MUSE takes the intelligence from COMPASS and the signals from Scout and drafts personalized messages — warm intros, cold emails, LinkedIn DMs — grounded in what's actually happening at that company right now.

Built to Be Affordable

Running multiple AI agents could easily get expensive. We designed MASSÉ from the ground up to be smart about it.

Different tasks require different levels of reasoning. A quick screening pass doesn't need the same horsepower as a deep intelligence brief. So we route each task to the right model for the job — heavyweight models for the work that matters most, lighter models for the high-volume tasks that don't need it.
